As a nature-lover, what can I do to help?
Here are 5 things you can do:
1. Take interest in the birds around you - buy a basic bird guide, perhaps keep a nature diary, or perhaps just observe what you see.
2.Request membership from the AA and/or other, bigger bird societies to help you learn more about birds and feel part of a 'gang'.
3. Understand more about birds - read about them, look them up on the internet, or, even better, observe them 'in the field'...whatever. You'll find the most amazing things.
4. Spread the word - tell your freinds and family to join; try and get them interested. After all, how can we get more members, more people to love birds, without YOUR help?
5. Take action - put up a bird feeder, take part in conservation, donate to a wildlife charity...anything like that!
